WIA FabCo 811N1 Cored Wires [FLUX CORED GAS SHIELDED] – Is designed for mining, construction & earthmoving equipment together with other fabrication where low temperature impact values are required. Its use is recommended for weathering-steel fabrication where colour match is not required. Applications include but are not limited to: Weathering Steels when Color-Match is not Required; Structural Fabrication; Single / Multi-Pass Welding; Ship Building; High-Strength Low-Alloy Steels; Heavy Equipment Fabrication; Excellent Impact Toughness; Bridge Fabrication.

WIA FabCo 803 Cored Wires [FLUX CORED GAS SHIELDED] – Offers excellent arc stability and low spatter using either CO₂ or Ar/CO₂ mixtures with up to 80% Argon. FabCo 803 Cored Wire applications include ship building, offshore drilling rigs, HSLA steels & weathering steels where colour match is not required.

WIA Austfil 71T Cored Wires [FLUX CORED GAS SHIELDED] – A flux cored wire designed for excellent performance in all positional fillet weld & butt-welding applications. These applications include general purpose all positional welding of mild, carbon & carbon-manganese steels where an excellent weld profile and penetration is required. Austfil 71T Cored Wires are suitable for applications such as storage tanks (water & feed), structural fabrication, machinery, earthmoving equipment & fatigue loaded structures.

WIA Austfil 71T-1M Cored Wires [FLUX CORED GAS SHIELDED] – A flux cored wire with a NEW and improved formula for optimal position welding. Recommended for the welding of mild, carbon & carbon-manganese medium steels where good impact properties at -30°C are required. Typical applications of Austfil 71T-1M Cored Wires include steel fabrication such as plate sections, beams, girders, truck chassis, truck bodies, ship building, earthmoving equipment & storage tanks (water & feed).

WIA FabCo XL-525 Cored Wires [FLUX CORED GAS SHIELDED] – A rutile flux cored all position wire designed for welding mild & carbon steels. Ideal for single & multi-pass applications, it delivers outstanding welding performance while produces high quality X-ray clear weld deposit with a bead contour that is flat to slightly convex. FabCo XL-525 Cored Wires are recommended for ship building, storage vessels, off-shore structures, earthmoving equipment & pipe welding.

WIA Austfil 70C-6M Cored Wires [METAL CORED GAS SHIELDED] – A metal-cored wire designed for high speed fillet & butt welding. FabCo XL-525 Cored Wires are recommended for single pass & multi-pass welding in both the flat & horizontal positions for mild, carbon & manganese carbon steels with minimum clean up & where high deposition rates & efficiencies are required in high productivity, semi-automatic & fully automatic welding installations.

FLUX CORED SELF SHIELDED

WIA Fabshield 4 Cored Wires [SELF SHIELDED] – Are a very high deposition rate, self-shielding flux cored wire used primarily for down hand single or multi-pass welding applications. Typical Fabshield 4 Cored Wires applications include on site field construction & repair of structural members & machinery.

WIA Fabshield XLR-8 Cored Wires [SELF SHIELDED] – Are a low hydrogen T-8 self-shielded, all positional flux cored wire, producing a stable arc & flat bead profile. Specifically designed for increased productivity & high deposition rates on challenging structural steel erection, heavy equipment repair, mining equipment, bucket repairs, storage tanks, pipe spooling, ship construction & rugged site work applications.

WIA Fabshield 21B Cored Wires [SELF SHIELDED] – Are an all positional general purpose, self-shielding, flux cored wire – primarily used for on-site welding applications including farm & rural fabrication, fences, frames, sheds etc. Other uses include but are not limited to: prefabricated steel frame construction, galvanised tank fabrication & the repair of trucks / tractors / earthmoving equipment.
